Description: Join Asali Naimah to start or strengthen your study of belly danc! A private lesson may include: warm-up, core exercises, isolations, technique, dance combos, choreography or props! Both novice and professional dancers are welcome as she also offers performance and costume coaching for stage and non-stage shows! This Saturday’s workshop theme is where Asali Naimah will teach participants a short choreography that allows both learning and incoporation of beautiful arm movesments including snake arms, vertical arms, wrist circles and hand waves to embellish the beauty of your arms and hands. Add excitement to your belly dance moves as you learn to create intriguing hip work & accents! Students cover alignment, posture and technique tips and knowledge to identify when to use skeletal or muscular moves in glutes and oblique’s to power hip drops, hip lifts, hip bumps, pelvis tilts/ tucks and more! Also drill shimmy technique to build the strength and stamina to power all hip moves with precision!
